Testimonials

Dear Naresh,
Thanks for the mail and indeed , I am feeling elated to be among the elite class of 'bullet proof managers' across the globe.
The most exciting part of the BPM program was that it highlights the basic and fundamentals in an adorable manner. What we believe is 'known' is reinstated in a more firm and ingenious way in our mind . The mix of video session with the powerful and thought provoking ppt session ( which used to soak us in the subject matter of the video session in a nice way , to facilitate us in learning process) was superb.
Thanks to all the team of Crestcom for this wonderful journey!
I would reiterate that that there should be a mechanism by which the past BMP graduates are able to come to a platform ( either virtual , through net ) or real ( in form of a meeting ) where we are able to share our views or learnings on some pre decided topics .
All the best.

With regards,
Dr Capt Tanweer

Management Announcement

Date: January 28, 2009

Dear colleagues -
A very Happy New Year to everyone!
2009 is clearly going to be the year that tests this organization in more ways than one. With the downturn getting deeper and tougher everywhere we look, the need of the hour is consolidation and determination to get ahead of everyone else.
The good news is that our business is diversified enough to handle the downturn. With more companies cutting back on training budgets, the natural move is towards cost-effective training mechanisms and our e-learning solutions offer just that: scale, learning effectiveness and cost-effectiveness. I actually expect our e-learning business to pick up significantly this year.
This, however, does not detract us from the cost focused agenda I laid out last year. Every rupee saved is one more rupee that contributes to the profits of the company, enabling business forward. Some of you have really gone the extra mile in reducing costs: I specifically want to recognize the work of Mouli and Naga in reducing our studio costs substantially – from typically Rs. 50,000/- a day to Rs. 35, 000/- a day.
Others are doing good things as well. Ved, who is an administrative assistant in our offices at Mandaveli has made impressive strides in his spoken English, thanks to the efforts of Savithri. Congratulations Ved!
On the Crestcom side of the business, Vinodh, Sheila and Mahendran (our office driver who helps out in session planning) have done an impressive job of organizing our public sessions in Bangalore. Both sessions recorded 95% attendance and were very well organized.
I also want to add a special note of congratulations to Ashfaq Ghori who has been consistently receiving excellent feedback on his BPM sessions.
Last, but not the least, the BPM implementation work of Savithri Ravichandran is clearly making a significant impact on our clients. Nice work, Savithri!
Organizational Announcements:
In lieu of the increased work ahead of us, I am making the following changes to the delivery structure:
Mouli Marur, Creative Director, will now be focused on learning effectiveness of all NuVeda Learning Products and Services. Along with Pradeep Kumar, he will work to ensure the quality of scripting before our e-learning modules go into the production environment.
Nagarajan Chandrashekaran will have day to day responsibility for managing delivery of the e-learning modules.
Anand Palande will manage delivery of any Proof of Concepts (POCs) for Pre-sales activities. For a list of all the demos that we have created so far, visit: www.nuvedalearning.com/demo It’s quite impressive!
I also want to welcome one of our employees back: Pradeep Kumar, who returns from a long hiatus (or holiday, whichever you want to say) from the company to his Quality Control role as part of the e-learning solutions team.
Now for a major challenge ahead – something that can dramatically improve the productivity and profitability of the company:
Operational Excellence:
The only way for us to grow to become a big company is by becoming more disciplined about what we do and being relentlessly innovative in what we do. That means delivering customer delight consistently to our customers, internally and externally. In this aspect, we have a lot of work to do and I am launching an Operational Excellence Initiative to help us succeed. I am also asking Anand Palande to lead this initiative on my behalf.
Here’s how it works: Each of you will be asked to create your own dashboard during the All-hands meeting. Against each of the targets in the dashboard, you will be required to update your results on a daily basis. Anand Palande and I will be reviewing this regularly to ensure that we are operationally excellent!
Here’s the good news. If all of us do it regularly every working day of the month, all of you together benefit Rs. 10, 000 /- (And you get to do whatever you want with it!). If anyone of you fails to do it, you lose the entire pot of money.
Here’s my own Operational Excellence Dashboard, for those of you that are interested:
I look forward to seeing yours and helping NuVeda move substantially forward.
Thanks for your cooperation and the spirit of excellence!
Regards
Krishnan
